Full Item Description

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)

A global, non-profit organisation helping animals and people thrive together.

We are experts and everyday people, working across seas, oceans, and in more than 40 countries around the world. We rescue, rehabilitate and release animals, and we restore and protect their natural habitats. The problems we’re up against are urgent and complicated. To solve them, we match fresh thinking with bold action. We partner with local communities, governments, non-governmental organisations and businesses. Together, we pioneer new and innovative ways to help all species flourish.

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI)

The most trusted wildlife conservation charity organization in India

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) was formed in 1998 in response to the many crises confronting India's wildlife and wild habitats. A team of 3 members set out on a mission to save the environment.

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) operates in service of India’s natural heritage. Their mission is to conserve wildlife and its habitat, and to work for the welfare of individual wild animals, in partnership with communities and governments. To achieve their goals, WTI maintains an approach undergirded by science and shaped by empathy, focusing on key areas including wildlife crime, species recovery, and human-wildlife conflict mitigation.

From the Pir Panjal mountains in Kashmir to the mangrove forests of Kannur, Kerala; from Himalayan black bear forests in Arunachal to whale shark pupping areas off the Gujarat coast.
